An animation assignment for the animation study group at my college, MCAD. The animation had to be drawn within 48 hours. It was a tough assignment but with some planning and storyboarding I got it finished on time. The animation is of a human person being judged by a group of celestial beings. The person is deemed too corrupt and as a punishment has their soul thrown into a black hole. Space and black holes fascinate me a lot and so I based my animation off of my love for space. The soul is represented by a smaller person living inside the human's chest as a way to humanize it.
My Animation Work

An animation assignment for the animation study group at my college, MCAD. It is the rough animation of Astro Boy's creator having a melt down over the death of his human son. The assignment is to reanimate a section of an old scene from the original anime Astro Boy. This is still a work in progress for me at the moment.

A personal project. This project was self assigned, and my goal was to create a short goodbye for my family before my classes at MCAD begun. I took a plane to MCAD and the small clouds and their shadows fascinated me a lot so I tried my best to represent then through the window outside of the plane. The ghost cat was one part me saying goodbye to my cat while I'm at college, and one part the realization that one day my cat will be gone.

A personal project. This project was self assigned, my intentions where to try my hand at animating a storyboard to go along with a song I really enjoy. I designed a lighthouse at the edge of the universe and a lonely women who lived there. I do intend to pick this project back up probably around the summer, since the computer I drew this on is no longer in use I will redraw everything.

A personal project. This project was self assigned, and my goal was to create an animation of any kind. This was my first attempt at animating so I gathered visual references to help me create the cat and his environment . I believe the animation turned out to be very cute.
